Taking Care of Your Eyes at Skin Deep
Surely you’ve noticed that the skin around your eyes is tender, delicate, and quick to show signs of aging. That’s why it’s important to have custom skin care for our eyes, going above and beyond what we do for the rest of our face and neck. At Skin Deep Spa, we have a number of ways to pamper your eyes. Read on to learn more.
Eye Treatments at the Spa
Any time you’re in for a facial, you can always add on an eye treatment for just an extra $15. Our estheticians will take a little extra time to give your eyes some love, alleviating lines, puffiness, and dark circles. Your eyes will surely feel rejuvenated.
Eye Treatments for Home
To continue caring for your eyes at home, we have products that will reduce puffiness, smooth fine lines, and help with dark circles.
One favorite treatment that is great for an at-home spa night are the “eyes” masks by ToGoSpa. We carry a few different varieties that focus on various aspects like anti-aging and puffiness.
We also have eye creams in each of the product lines that we carry. Just ask when you’re in the spa, and we can direct you to one that meets your needs. We need special care for our eyes because, like we mentioned, the skin around the eyes is so delicate and tender. Jan Marini has an eye cream we love called Age Intervention Eye Creme. The product works through the power of peptides, retinol, and hyaluronic acid to provide ultra-smooth contour.
Another set of products we recommend are Rhonda Allison’s eye line. Their Eyes products include an Eye Revitalizer, a Peptide 3-in-1 Eye Cream, Eye Lift, and Eye & Lip Renew Serum. Not sure which one is right for your needs? Just ask, and we will point you in the right direction.
PCA also has a few eye products we love, including their Ideal Complex Revitalizing Eye Gel, Ideal Complex Restorative Eye Cream, and the Sheer Tint Triple Complex Broad Spectrum, SPF 30. Obviously, the feature of the SPF product is that it provides protection from the sun, but in a gentle enough formula for the delicate under-eye skin. This skin is just as susceptible to sun damage as any other part of the face, so a daily SPF is vital.
This brings us to our last point, which is just a reminder that you can also protect your eyes through prevention. Wearing large sunglasses at any time of year provides even more coverage for your face, protecting the skin around your eyes from sun damage. We don’t always think about sunglasses as protecting our skin, but they certainly are a barrier that deflects the sun’s rays.
Still Have Questions? Just Ask!
We hope you’re inspired to increase your eye care, and treat yourself to a little extra love for your eyes. With both eye treatments in the spa and using a product or two at home, you can alleviate signs of aging, puffiness, and dark circles to bring a bright and renewed appearance to your face! And if you want to know which eye products would be best for your needs and budget, just ask next time you’re in or give us a call.
