Skin Deep Year in Review!
Wow, this has been an incredible year of growth and excitement here at Skin Deep! If you know anything about us, you know we are always learning and bringing our latest skills and expertise to our clients here at the spa. And, we’ve been breaking new ground here too. Here are some of our favorite highlights of 2023.
Attending National Industry Conferences
Mariquita and Beth attended various trainings and conferences throughout the year, this year traveling all over the country. We had the honor of bringing our whole staff to the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa in Long Beach in August. All of our estheticians were able to go, so our whole crew—Mariquita, Beth, Katrina, and Larissa—were all able to soak it all up together!

We also had many great trainings here at Skin Deep with representatives from our different skin care lines. Our reps always make sure we know the latest best practices, have the newest products, and are making sure our clients are seeing great results.

And we’re not all business here at Skin Deep! We truly care about each other and have a great time hanging out even outside of work!
Elite Esthetician Institute Launch
2023 was also a very exciting year as we (Mariquita and Beth) launched a new business— Elite Esthetician Institute. We have a combined 50+ years of experience in the beauty industry, and we are thrilled to be able to mentor estheticians to be successful in their businesses.
We’re still seeing our clients at Skin Deep and loving every minute, and are also so thankful to have this new opportunity. We offer a 90-day mentorship program called The Fully Booked Esthetician, and so far, it’s been very rewarding. We Were On Our First Podcast!
In tandem with launching our latest business, we were also on our first podcast—Turn the Volume Up, with our dear friend Susan Hay. Susan interviewed us about how we have mixed business and friendship all these years, and it was so fun to reflect on our friendship, our growth, and all of the seasons of life we have been through together.
